Mission
Chicago Loop Alliance (CLA) is a member-based business organization that represents Chicago's most dynamic mixed-use district—the Loop—and advocates for the rapidly growing central business area. CLA is focused on promoting and uniting Loop businesses and organizations to support one another in creating a vibrant, flourishing Loop where people live, work and play.

Project Area
Although members come from throughout Chicago, CLA’s project area is defined as extending from the Chicago River on the north and west, to Lake Michigan on the east and Congress Parkway on the south.

Members
CLA members include retailers, hotels, banks, Fortune 500 companies, restaurants, educational institutions, real estate companies, not-for-profits, theaters, museums, architectural firms, cultural institutions and others who seek to improve the Loop and the organizations and businesses within it. CLA supports and furthers the interests of its members through advocacy, networking, partnerships and promotions.

State Street Special Service Area (SSA) #1
CLA continues to be the service provider of Special Service Area #1, which includes property on both sides of State Street between Wacker Drive on the north and Congress Parkway on the south. These services include landscaping, power washings, seasonal decorations, events, marketing and infrastructure maintenance.
