CLA continues to expand its membership program and the members are representative of the diverse mixed uses the Loop has to offer. Quarterly membership events create a forum for dialogue that fosters mutual success, as well as future collaborations and partnerships. Members host the events, allowing them to showcase their businesses to fellow members.

Thursday, August 12th, 2010 | Leadership Forum Breakfast Series | Featuring Terry Mazany, President & CEO of The Chicago Community Trust

On Thursday, August 12, CLA members and guests were invited to attend the Leadership Forum Breakfast Series at Goodman Theatre.

The event provided an opportunity for early morning networking over breakfast, and featured a presentation from Terry Mazany, President and CEO of The Chicago Community Trust. "We are on a collision course with the future," Mazany told attendees, speaking about corporate responsibility and focusing on issues of worldwide population growth, shifting economic patterns, increasing resource demands, and what these factors mean for Chicago. Special thanks to Goodman Theatre for hosting this event.

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 | Exclusive LoopedIn Networking Event | Shoreline Sightseeing's Architectural Boat Cruise

Chicago Loop Alliance (CLA) members were invited to play tourist in our own City of Big Shoulders and embarked on a Shoreline Sightseeing Architectural River Cruise! Despite torrential downpours, more than 100 CLA members and special guests boarded the Evening Star and enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres provided by The Italian Village Restaurant and marveled at Chicago’s most acclaimed architectural landmarks along the historic Chicago River.

Thursday, April 15, 2010 | Exclusive LoopedIn Networking Event | Ford Center/Oriental Theatre

On April 15, approximately 70 Chicago Loop Alliance members and guests took part in CLA's Night Out at the Theatre. The event offered guests a pre-performance cocktail party featuring drinks and hors d'oeuvres followed by a performance of the smash-hit musical Billy Elliot.

Thursday, March 18th, 2010 | Exclusive LoopedIn Networking Event | Brooks Brothers

On Thursday, March 18, Chicago Loop Alliance members and guests enjoyed an exclusive shopping experience at Loop retailer, Brooks Brothers (209 S. LaSalle St.). The event offered networking over cocktails and hors d'oeuvres as well as a sneak peek of Brooks Brothers' spring line. Guests were also treated to a 15% discount on everything in the store. From the purchases made during the event, 10% of the proceeds were donated to The Greater Chicago Food Depository.
